About the organizations
The Transeúnte Cultural Association is defined by its commitment to social inclusion and community empowerment through art. The association works with youth and people with disabilities to develop artistic talents and generate dialogue on critical issues, such as environmental impact. It addresses challenges like xenophobia and discrimination, promoting tolerance and cultural diversity by including volunteers and participants from diverse backgrounds, focusing on adaptation and intercultural learning in rural environments.
Volunteer’s tasks
- Cultural visits.
- Alternative, inclusive, and healthy leisure activities.
- Activities for the promotion, recovery, and sustainable development of cultural and environmental heritage.
- Educational reinforcement and compensation workshops.
- Socio-educational workshops and art workshops for social and personal skills.
- Workshops for activation, leisure, and social participation.
- Organization of educational activities.
Volunteer’s profile
– Have common sense and assertiveness.
– Possess a strong motivation for the activity to be carried out and be sure of the role of cultural exchanges.
– Ability to take initiative and proactivity.
– Flexibility, responsibility, patience.
– Be willing to participate in all the activities that are proposed.
